Match the clothing and age rules
Carson distinguishes its swimsuit-required communal therapy pool from the clothing-optional bathhouse, and limits spa services to adults. Breitenbush allows optional clothing in soaking areas. Belknap requires clothing and excludes under-fives from the pool area. These differences matter more than a generic “family friendly” tag; choose the particular bathing product that fits everyone travelling.

A full-day pass and an hourly swim are different trips
Breitenbush day use spans a daytime visit and requires advance planning. Belknap no longer sells a full-day walk-in pool pass; a one-hour visit should be part of a considered wider itinerary rather than an assumed day-long soak. Portland is only the starting point: the approximate distances are not road distances and do not account for the forest approach.
